Accelerate your graduation

  • Two graduations per year (December and June) offered to accelerate success during and beyond high school for students ages 16-22 years old.

  • Scheduling based on credits needed, not grade level: All students are enrolled in the courses they need to complete a high school diploma, regardless of current grade level and/or age.

  • Earn credits in half the time: Students enroll in 6 classes per semester, and work towards earning a full Carnegie unit in each course. Therefore, if a student came to RAHS with zero high school credits, they could be eligible to graduate in two school years with a high school diploma (and even less time if starting with RAHS with credits from other high schools).

  • Extended school year to maximize supports offered for students (August through June calendar)

Individualized supports

  • All students benefit from:  Daily advisory meeting, strong intervention services and differentiated supports, small class sizes, multiple instructors in classrooms, community partnerships

  • Transition planning:  Support with transition planning for post high school plans for career and college plans including college trips & applications, scholarships applications, resume building, interview prep

  • Abbreviated schedule:  Available for students with documentation of jobs and/or additional responsibilities outside of school

  • Prepare for a career and/or college:  Earn Industry Based Credentials in Digital Media, Nursing, Emergency Responder, Carpentry & Electrical

  • Other elective classes:  CrossFit PE, Yoga, Digital Photography, career-based internships
